Smart and distinctive sterling silver bowl. Made by Durgin (later a division of Gorham) in Concord and Providence, ca 1890, for Shreve, Crump & Low. Oval with slanted fluted sides. End bracket handles have graduated lobing. Rests on 4 lobed bun supports. Hallmark includes maker’s and retailer’s marks and no. 105. Very good form and patina.
