Japonesque applied sterling silver creamer and sugar. Made by Shiebler in New York, ca 1890. Both: wrap-around leaf with engraved veins and wavy ruffled rim that evokes the wispy fragility and irregularities of a real leaf. Applied bugs and twisted and scrolled twig handles. Interior lightly gilt. Script monogram. Hallmark includes no. 452. Very good condition and patina.
