Sterling silver tea caddy. Made by Frank Whiting in North Attleboro, Mass., ca 1890. Voluptuous bombe form and short neck. At top is band of repousse flowers and foliage. Cover squat and curved with vacant center bordered by repousse waves and scrolls. Lots of room for engraving. Hallmark includes no. 1450. Very good condition with snug-fitting cover to keep the precious leaves fresh.
