Colonial sterling silver porringer. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Curved bowl with scrolled tree handle. A fine reproduction after Boston silversmith Zachariah Brigden (ca. 1734-87). The original is in the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Hallmark includes pattern no. 19161 (first produced 1916), director’s letter m (1907-47), and history and provenance of original. Excellent condition.
