Sterling silver gravy boat on stand. Made by Durgin in Concord, New Hampshire, ca 1915. Traditional bowl with molded rim, scroll bracket handle, and stepped oval foot. Stand has well with sloping sides and molded rim. Allover hand hammering except for stand well, which is plain. Both pieces have applied block monogram which is nicely integrated into the design. A fine example of the Craftsman influence on a major American maker. Hallmarks include no. 19 and retailer’s name Brand-Hier Co. Very good condition.
