Set of six sterling silver and mixed metal spoons. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1910. Each: hand-hammered stem with applied mixed metal flowers, birds, fish, and crabs. All different. Gilt bowl. A beautiful confluence of Japanese inspiration and Arts & Crafts technique.
Hallmarks includes director’s letter m (1907-47), phrase “pat. 1880”, and nos. 1050, 1053-55, 1057, and 1059. Five spoons have phrase “sterling and gold”. One spoon has phrase “sterling”. Fine condition and patina.
