Aesthetic sterling silver decanter. Made by Frederick Elkington in Birmingham in 1886. Baluster body round stepped foot. Helmet mouth with turned-down leaves hinged flap. (Mouth interior and flap lightly gilt). Scroll handle with applied leaves and flowers. Stippled band with blossoming branch of lily of the valley. Hallmarked. Very good condition with deep patina.
