Art Nouveau sterling silver picture frame. Made by Unger Bros in Newark, ca 1910. Narrow oval window and flat surround with acid-etched floral scrollwork on stippled ground. Top and bottom have chevron-shaped cartouches (vacant). Two open bracket supports. With glass, silk lining, and velvet back and hinged support. For vertical (portrait) display. An unusual form by a collectible maker. Fully marked and numbered 02621. Very good condition with strong definition.
