Edwardian Classical sterling silver chip-and-dip. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1914.
This set comprises covered sauce bowl on plate. Bowl: ovoid on stepped foot and gently raised cover with oval finial. Clear glass liner. Plate: Round with deep well and short foot. Both have acid-etched band with leafy rinceaux and fleur-de-lys pendants, and egg-and-dart borders.
Fully marked including pattern no. 18670C1 (first produced in 1914) and director’s letter m. Very good condition with strong definition.
