Edwardian Regency gilt sterling silver and pink guilloche enamel box. Made by William B. Kerr in Newark, ca 1910. Rectangular with straight sides and gently curved and hinged cover. Sides and cover top enameled with floral garlands on wavy ground. Box and cover rims silver with imbricated leaf ornament. Box and cover interior velvet lined and fitted. For keepsakes and jewelry.
Fully marked including no. D3716, maker’s stamp, and Gorham stamp. Kerr was acquired by Gorham in 1906. Very good condition with minor age-related discoloration to enamel and wear to velvet.
