Aesthetic coin silver mustard pot with ladle, ca 1860. Pot: ovoid bowl with scroll-bracket handle and round flat foot. Flared rim and hinged and domed cover. Ladle: Curved and tapering shaft with oval gilt-washed bowl. Chased and engraved stylized ornament. Pot has two round frames (vacant) and spoon has armorial frame (same). Both pieces have maker’s stamp for Peter L. Krider, who was active in Philadelphia in the mid-19th century. Pot has word “Standard” and no. 148 as well as retailer’s stamp for George W. Webb in Baltimore. Very good condition.
