Aesthetic Classical coin silver baby cup. Straight sides with bracket handle. Oval frames with wavy borders of which one vacant and two inset with paterae. Engine-turned geometric-patterned ground. A stunner. Marked “Coin / 2” with maker’s stamp for Northwestern Silverware Mfg Co., a short-lived enterprise in post-Civil War Chicago that was destroyed by the 1871 fire. Fine condition.
