Turn-of-the-century Art Nouveau sterling silver match safe. Made by William B. Kerr in Newark. Rectangular and curved with hinged cover. On front lion rampant with fat paws and delineated fur supporting a knight wearing a plumed helmet; knight plain and engraved with interlaced script monogram. Case back plain. Underside has strike. Fully marked and numbered 2441. Very good condition.
