Victorian sterling silver ceremonial key. Made by James Fenton & Co. in Birmingham in 1900. Shaped and curvilinear double-sided head with chased leaves and flowers and armorial cartouches; fretwork bit. Engraved presentation. On front cartouche: "Presented / To / Mr. P. Howarth / On Opening / Of Canteen". On reverse: “At / Foundry Mills / Ltd. / Radcliffe / Feb. 22, 1951”.
Fully marked. Very good condition.
