Victorian Modern sterling silver and glass figural jar. Made by Elizabeth Hutton in London in 1893. Owl-form with curved clear-glass body on four block feet. Sterling silver collar and hinged head with engraved armorial on top. Yellow and black glass eyes set in concave circles, and curved beak. A wise bird with penetrating gaze. Fully marked. Excellent condition.
