Edwardian Regency sterling silver picture frame. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1910. Rectangular surround has oval window with border flowing into corner rondels that in turn flow into outer rectangular border, and leafing branches. Sides have crisscrossing curvilinear frames. Ornament acid-etched. Traces of gilt wash. With glass, silk lining, and velvet back and hinged easel support. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 6900, and director’s letter m. Excellent condition with strong definition.
