Victorian sterling silver tea ball. Made by Gorham in Providence in 1895. Round and hinged. Dense allover repousse flowers with pierced heads. Chain has ring terminal for easy swishing around the pot. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, no. 815, and date symbol. Very good condition. Closes securely with nice snap. No risk of loose leaves floating in the cups.
