Japonesque mixed metal tray on copper. Made by Gorham in Providence in 1882. Lobed rectangular with curved sides. Applied ornament comprising fish swimming in tooled rippling water. A crab crawls onto one bank. On other stand two birds. Above aquatic scene are tooled clouds. Leafing branch with pinecones in upper left corner. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, date letter, and no. B75. Good condition with some finish discoloration and irregularity.
