Pair of very tall American Edwardian Regency sterling silver candlesticks, ca 1920. Tapering shaft on domed foot; at top is garland and colonnade capital with leaf-and-dart border. Urn socket with detachable bobeche on raised foot. On shaft are two beribboned oval frames with pendant flowers; one frame inset with drapery-clad bacchante; the other has engraved interlaced script monogram. Ribboned garland with paterae engraved on foot. Traditional ornament on Modern, elongated form. Marked “Sterling / R54A”. Condition: One shaft has a few small dents. Otherwise very good.
