English Art Deco sterling silver box, ca 1920. Rectangular with straight sides and spread base. Cover hinged with tapering tab. Cover top gently curved with central rectangular frame (vacant). Allover engine-turned ornament on sides and cover top. Bead-and-reel borders. Cedar-lined interior. Box underside leather lined. Indistinct makers as well as maker’s stamp (Mappin & Webb) on underside. Good condition with a few pings.
