Large Art Deco sterling silver box. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1927. Rectangular with straight sides and curved corners. Cover flat and hinged with molded rim and on top central rectangular cartouche (vacant). Fine and dense acid-etched allover scrollwork mesh. Box and cover interior cedar-lined and partitioned. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 21146C (first produced in 1927), and director’s letter m. Excellent condition.
