Art Nouveau sterling silver baby cup. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1887. Waisted bowl and scroll handle with scaly beaded serpentine split tail terminating in volute scrolls. Clusters of acid-etched leafing scrolls with heads in rondels and gryphons. Stylistically integrated monogram. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 9566 (first produced in 1887), and director’s letter M (1873-91). Very good condition.
