Midcentury Modern sterling silver sauce bowl on stand. Retailed by Cartier in New York. Bowl: Round with curved and gently upward tapering sides, short inset foot, and split-mounted scroll bracket handles. Stand: Round with well and wide and tapering shoulder. Fully marked including maker’s (Worden Munnis) and retailer’s stamps and no. 55. Worden Munnis was active in Boston from the 1940s-60s. Very good condition.
