This is a beautiful and hard to find Italian Cabinet made from solid walnut by the beginning of the 18th century, directly inspired of the Renaissance period almost 200 years earlier, boasting a fantastic embellishment from the cornice to the stunning facade and pediment below. Beside the impressive visual impact, this piece is also very convenient and offers a large storage capacity. The cornice is actually hiding a large compartment sitting upon the upper part providing a pair of doors revealing a storage area with drawers above the pediment below, also providing storage thanks to 2 lovely doors. Several scratches, dents and cracks can be seen here and there due to the age. Lock and keys were replaced at some point. Circa date 1700. Dimensions 57"high/ 48"wide/ 20"deep.
