An exquisite late 19th century painted gueridon made from lime tree during the reign of Napoleon III. This lovely piece boasts a round contoured top intricately engraved with floral and foliate patterns and supported by a nicely turned column standing upon a tripod base on ball feet. Note several scratches and dents here and there due to the age. Circa date 1860. Dimensions 30"high/ 23"diameter.
