This is a handsome Sofa made from solid oak by the second half of the 19th century during the Renaissance Revival period, consisting of large rectangular seatback standing upon a wide seat flanked by nicely scrolled armrests, highlighted with acanthus patterns, all supported by a beautiful pediment consisting of baluster legs connected to each other by matching H-shaped stretchers providing stability. The upholstery is estimated to be a couple of decades old and is in used condition. Minor scratches and dents can be seen due to the age. Circa date 1880.
