This is a majestic Buffet a Deux Corps made from solid and lovely patinaed walnut by the end of the 19th century. This piece is boasting the classical diamond point motifs typical of the Renaissance period from which this buffet is inspired. Beside the great look, this item also offers a spacious storage capacity thanks to a large upper compartment with two shelves standing on the buffet below, featuring a 2-drawer frieze above a pair of doors revealing another compartment with single shelf. The locks and keys mounting the doors are in original and working condition. Several minor scratches and dents can be seen here and there due to the age. Circa date 1880-1890. Dimensions 97"high/ 55"wide/ 22"deep.
