This is a handsome beginning of the 18th century Buffet made from solid oak by the end of the reign of Louis XIV. This massive piece is boasting a thick rectangular top sitting upon a straight facade mounted with a pair of recessed paneled doors accented with the classical diamond's point design typical from this period. The sides panels are also recessed. This heavy piece of furniture provides a large storage capacity thanks to a spacious compartment with single shelf. Locks and keys are not original and in working order. Several scratches and dents can be seen on this more or less 300 years old piece of history. Circa date 1700-1710.
