This is a very nice Italian sideboard made from solid and beautifully patinaed walnut at the end of the 19th century. It is boasting an intricate embellishment consisting of a meticulously sculpted upper frieze depicting flower heads and acanthus leaves above a pair of glass doors. The doors are mounted with decorative wrought iron elements and reveals a spacious storage area with single shelf, all standing upon a bottom open niche supported by large ball feet. Locks on the doors are in working order. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa date 1890-1900. Dimensions 44"high/ 66"wide/ 17"deep.
