This is a beautiful and large Buffet made at the beginning of the 20th century, commonly called Enfilade by the French due to its long size. This stunning antique is originally coming from Provence in the south of France. It consists of a serpentine shaped top sitting upon a lovely accented step-front facade. This latter offers a 2-drawer frieze above a pair of arched recessed paneled doors flanked by matching side cabinets. Note the beautiful hardware accenting this enfilade, from the handles to the pierced escutcheons and long barrel hinges. The nicely scrolled pediment is highlighted with a pierced-carved apron supported by boldly sculpted cabriole legs on escargot feet. This magnificent piece is also very convenient with a very large storage capacity. Locks and keys are in original and working condition. Minor scratches and dents can be seen here and there due to the age. Circa date 1900-1910. Dimensions 42"high/ 98"wide/ 24"deep.
