This is a beautiful set of six dining Chairs made from solid and lovely patinaed walnut by the beginning of the 20th century. This set is directly inspired of the Louis XV era, more or less one hundred fifty years earlier. Each chair features a tall and arched seat back standing upon a large serpentine shaped seat supported by a graceful pediment. This latter consists of four nicely scrolled cabriole legs on escargot feet. The crimson simili leather is estimated to be a couple of decade old. Wear consistent with age and use.. Circa date 1900-1910. Dimensions 42"high/ 18"seat height/ 20"wide/ 18"deep.
