A rare pair of Chinese cloisonne enamel 'holy water' bottles, Qianlong/Jiaqing, c. 1800. Height 23 cms.
Iron-red decorated porcelain bottles of this shape were made in the Qianlong reign as gifts to Tibetan monks. In cloisonne, however, they are much rarer.
The only pair to have come on the market in recent times were sold at Christie's New York, 18.9.2014, for USD 23,750.
A single example was sold in Christie's Paris, 8.6.2010, lot 242.

An unusual Chinese cloisonne enamel bowl, Qianlong, decorated inside and out with red lotus flowers and green lotus pads on a blue ground, the centre of the interior and the base each with a pale green lotus pod. 18 cms diam., 10 cms high. Heavily cast. 830g.
I have seen this design on a couple of moon flasks, but never on a deep bowl such as this.

A Chinese cloisonne circular box and cover decorated to the top with formal lotus, the sides with flower groups. 10.5cms diam. Qing dynasty. The gilded base incised with a Jiajing mark in a vertical line.
Provenance: L. Wannieck, Paris (label). A London collection. Previously the property of a professor in Seal Beach, California. Originally purchased in Pasadena.
A Chinese gilt bronze and cloisonne enamel censer and cover modelled as a standing Buddhistic lion with detachable head, Qianlong period, 18th century, 12 cms. Good condition.

A Chinese Canton enamel dish vividly panted with two cockerels beside flowers issuing from rockwork within a border of plum flowers, cracked ice, ruyi heads and waves, the reverse with three flower sprays. Qianlong, 18th century. 23 cms diam.
One small area of restoration to the white on the back of the rim. Otherwise in good condition bar the odd usual stress crack.
