Unusual in its combination of figural and luscious floral links this is an early Deco Flli Peruzzi Italian silver bracelet, possibly a memento of a young lady's Grand Tour of Europe. Famous for their Renaissance Revival jewelry, the Peruzzi Bros are one of the oldest jewelers in Italy and still in operation today yet it is their vintage pieces that are avidly sought after. Here della Robia's "swaddled baby" from the Ospedale degli Innocenti in Florence is complemented by beautifully cast hibiscus links. With a wearable length of 7" (once clasped, it goes up to 7 1/4") the bracelet is 1 3/8" wide and weighs 42.8 grams. It is marked with maker's signature multiple times. Not hallmarked for metal content, it is tested and guaranteed to be silver of at least .800 purity even though it is most probably sterling from the 1900-1930s period. In excellent vintage condition with nice detail in the generously sized cast links, great patina, in an attractive design and with no flaws noted
