Big modernist Erika Hult de Corral Mexican silver ring with a richly colored amethyst cab nested in a modernist setting that borders on brutalism. I love Ric's jewelry, especially her rings, because they can be very bold and they are always immaculately finished. A real stunner, the ring is currently a comfortable sz 7.5 (easily resizable, I think, without fear of losing the hallmarks). It rises 7/16" off the finger when you have it on and its face is 7/8" in diameter. It weighs a good 18.4 grams and it is marked with Hult de Corral's "Ric" signature as well as "925" with Eagle 3 assay mark. The ring dates in the 1960s-70s and is in excellent vintage condition, a veritable show-stopper with a beautiful stone and no damage or repairs noted.
