Heavy and very well made this sterling silver chain necklace is comprised of thick, interwoven links and was made in the early part of the 20th c.. Difficult to come by any more chains like this are perfect to combine with chunky Victorian watch fobs yet they are substantial enough to hold their own even when you wear them alone. 16 7/8" long by 5/16" wide the chain weighs 59.2 grams. It is not signed for maker nor hallmarked for metal quality yet tested and guaranteed to be sterling silver. The necklace dates in the 1910s-30s and is in excellent vintage condition with the most silky patina ever, a pleasure to wear, with no damage or repairs noted and strong presence.
