Like highly stylized waterlily flowers the links forming this N. E. From sterling silver necklace have developed a beautiful patina over the years that accentuates the glistening raised surfaces and deepens the darkened recesses of the design. The specific design can be found with various stone cabochons as well - I sold a bracelet with lavender quartz some time ago - but I do love the slicker, extreme abstraction of the all silver approach at hand. Easy to wear, timeless and such a treat to the eye the necklace is 16" long (wearable; end to end it's 16 3/8") by 5/8" wide (the diameter of the circular links) and weighs 41.2 grams. It is signed with maker's name as well as "STERLING" and "DENMARK" and dates in the 1960s. It is in excellent vintage condition with beautiful, deep patina in the recesses and warmly glowing raised surfaces, easy to wear, with no damage and no repairs noted.
