Elegant simplicity is what characterizes this modernist Mexican silver and moss agate hinged bangle bracelet. The intermingling hues of green in the stone and the sweeping curve of the silver frame that surrounds it are the only "flourishes" interrupting the warmly glowing sterling bangle. Yet it is enough to attract the eye and offer that touch of visual interest which keeps the gaze captive and lightens the spirit. The bracelet has a
6 3/4" inner circumference (clasped) and its width varies between 1 1/4" and 1/2". It weighs a good 53.7 grams and is signed with maker's initials as shown as well as "MEXICO 925" and Eagle 3 assay mark. It dates in the 1950s-60s and is in excellent vintage condition with a beautiful, generously sized stone, with nice patina and no damage or repairs noted.
