Cheerful, colorful Mexican mod sterling silver bracelet in a design associated with the Los Castillo workshop and often referred to as "hands and stones". Signed here by a listed yet still unidentified early Mexico City maestro, the bracelet features richly colored amethyst, golden sheen obsidian, agates in mottled beige and green as well as pink, orange and sky blue quartz. Comfortable and soothing around the wrist, it is a definite pick-me-up and don't we all need some of that in our current predicament? Measuring 7 1/2" long (wearable) by approx. 5/8" wide the bracelet weighs 47.8 grams and is signed with maker's initials "JV" as well as "HECHO EN MEXICO D.F." and "925". It dates in the pre-1948 period and is in
excellent vintage condition with a fantastic array of colors in the stones, great patina, no damage and no repairs noted.
