Japanese early 20th century Sumidagawa large pitcher. The pitcher is done with 3 monkeys done in high relief. The chop mark of the artist in on the back Inouye Ryosai. The vase measures 12 3/16" tall and 6 1/4" wide and about 4 5/8" in diameter.

Japanese Late 20th Century cloisonné enamel koro (incense burner). Raised wire design of trees. The koro stands on three small feet. The koro measures 6 1/8" tall by 3 1/4" in diameter. Comes with wooden storage box. There is some slight darkening of the color of the body of the piece, in the lower area, from use.

Japanese early 20th century earthenware vase by SUIGETSU. The vase has 2 crabs done in high relief on the side. Japanese 20th century carved and painted wooden rat by KATO TOMOHIKO (1938-). KATO TOMOHIKO is a NITTEN artist. Signed TOMOHIKO. Comes with TOMOBAKO, original wooden artist signed storage box. The rat measures 10" long, 3 1/4" tall and 3" wide.

Japanese early Showa Period comb. The comb has the design of traditional Japanese bells with red cord attached. The bells are done in high relief, one in silver lacquer one in gold lacquer and the third in bluish-green shell inlays. The comb is signed by artist. The comb measures 4 1/4" wide, 2 3/16" tall and 7/16" thick.

Japanese 20-21st century large ceramic vase by Ito Shin. Ito Shin was born in Chiba, Japan in 1952 and has lived in worked in Mashiko in Tochigi Prefecture. He studied under KIKUCHI AKIRA, another Mashiko artist. He is a member of the DENTOKOGEIKAI, or traditional arts guild and also the Japan Ceramics Exhibition and has been selected to exhibit in these shows since 1977. Signed by artist on bottom. Japanese early 20th century bronze OKIMONO of a peacock by TSUDA SHINOBU. (1875-1946) Signed DAIJU on back of piece. Comes with original artist's box. The OKIMONO measures 5 1/4" tall, 10" long and is 3" wide.

Japanese early 20th century earthenware teapot by SASAKI NIROKU. The wonderful teapot has a Chinese landscape design carved into the side. The teapot measures 5 1/4" wide, 4 3/4" tall and 5" deep.

Japanese late 20th to early 21st century ORIBE ware large tray by artist SATO KAZUJI. (1948 -) SATO KAZUJI studied with ceramicist, HAYASHI KOTARO, a SHINO ware artist, but both artist are MINO artist. In 1978 he started his own kiln in Gifu Prefecture working with SHINO and ORIBE ware. The tray comes with TOMOBAKO, or original artist signed wooden storage box. The tray measures 29 1/2" in wide, 18" deep and 2 1/2" tall. The tray sits on 4 large feet.

Japanese 20th century black metal flower holder. This contemporary designed flower holder was made by Living National Treasure artist, SEKIYA SHIRO. The holder is marked 63,2,3 on the bottom. It measures 14" wide, 8 1/2" deep and 7" tall. The holder comes with TOMOBAKO or original artist signed wooden storage box.

Japanese late 19th or early 20th century bronze OKIMONO of a ram done in the style of Imperial Court artist, ISHIKAWA KOUMEI or MITSUAKI. The ram is done in fine detail. The OKIMONO is signed on the bottom by the artist, KOUMEI. The OKIMONO measures 10 1/4" wide, 7" deep and 7 1/8" tall.
