Age , origin, use unknown. Iron. Looks like there might have been a wood handle.
Measures 6 5 /8" long and and about1 1/4" wide.
This could be 2000 BC or a 1500's reproduction for the 14th century collector.
If you have visited the killer Bardini Museum in Florence and Miho Museum in Shigaraki Japan and studied old armor or weapons you will know that every body loved them.
So I cannot identify the century without a carbon test and other dating tests. The experts are looking at this hoping to get it cheap and so let's make a deal! I know it is old but not sure AD or BC or what century. The Romans faked Greek stuff and all of it is in the Vatican Museum.
