These two snuff bottles are Peking glass, created to look like gemstone, one jade, one agate. Both measure 2 3/4" high and have stoppers, but no spoon attached. (The darker stopper may be stone, as it has considerable inclusions and is heavy). Both are well done, and give the appearance of stone. The "jade" bottle has a very soft sheen, similar to what actual jade would look like, and has a small foot. Both in good condition, the jade one with a slight chip on the lip...

Measuring just a tad over 3" (8 3/4 cms), this cylindrical porcelain snuff bottle is very finely painted with two five toed dragons upon a background of purple/brown waves. One dragon is underglaze blue, with black enamel dots, and the other dragon is pale yellow with black dots, and some very pale blue accents on the head. The neck is pale blue, with black enamel geometric and floral designs. The base is unsigned and unglazed. The top is missing, but the cork remains in the neck...

A large and impressive censer, this bronze and cloisonne measures 24" high, approximately 14" wide, and is heavy weight bronze. The finial on the lid has a foo dog or lion, and the base has three mythical beasts as supports for the body of the censer. The two handles are stylized foo lions also. The cloisonne is multi colored, with a base tone of turquoise, with geometric designs in the background...

Measuring 9" high, this porcelain bottle form vase is well decorated in a rich array of enamels on a black background. The glazes are thick, with nice detailing on the flowers and leaves, and the surface of the mirror black glaze is slightly rippled. The clear glaze on the bottom has a very light greenish tint, with an unglazed foot. Good condition, with two slight losses of black glaze on the foot, visible in photos, but no chips or cracks. Late Qing, 19th century.

Measuring 3 3/4" x 1 1/8" this Chinese belt buckle is brass or possibly bronze, hard to be sure. It is comprised of Chinese symbols, all reticulated, and has slight remnants of gilding. The surface has additional detailing, with engraved lines and stippling. Good condition, very minor wear.

Measuring 3 1/4" x 1", this Chinese belt buckle is comprised of Chinese symbols, nicely reticulated with incised and stamped details over the surface. There are some small remnants of gilding, along with verdigris at one end. Some wear and slight dents, but otherwise in good condition.

Measuring 2 1/2" high, this porcelain snuff bottle is formed in the shape of an ear of corn, on a footed base, with simple neck. Mold lines are visible on both sides, and the kernels of corn are all modeled quite realistically. There are spots of green color in the yellow areas, with more on the base, visible in photos. In good condition, no chips or cracks, it is missing the original cap and spoon. Late Qing, 18th or 19th century.

Measuring 4 3/8" high (5 1/4+ with the lid), 4 1/8" wide, and 2 1/8+" deep, this Chinese porcelain tea caddy features molded designs on all four sides, with underglaze blue decoration. The cap is a later addition, is marked "sterling 925 K" and has what appears to be an earlier hallmark "F.J." in a rounded cartouche. With engraved designs of bats and other symbols, the surface of this box is stipled over most of the surface and has applied corners, medallions, and a central rectangular leaf design in silver. The interior is wood lined, and the lid fits snugly, so it was likely a humidor or cigar case. It is nice heavy weight, and measures 11/3/4" x 6 5/8" x 2 1/2", with a simple latch closure...

Measuring 4 7/8" high and 3 1/2" wide, this seated Buddha has a nice dark patina, with some areas with a greenish hue, and brighter bronze where they have been handled. The face and robe details are very delicately cast, a serene and lovely form. Across the back there are a few light scrapes on the borders of the robe, showing the lighter bronze. The interior also has some visible spots of verdigris. Appears to be late Qing, 19th century.

Measuring 6 3/4" in diameter and just a tad under 3" deep, this Chinese Export bowl is nicely decorated with an overglaze blue band of triangles forming a diamond with a rose in each one. Additional roses adorn the sides and center, and the rim has a brownish yellow lip, with a red line below the rim on the interior. Measuring 8 1/2" high, and roughly the same diameter, this Neolithic jar is well decorated in geometric patterns in both black and deep red pigments.
