Measuring just under 14" high and roughly 13" wide from tip of spout to handle end, this tinned copper vessel is a samovar, with a central cone which holds hot coals to keep the liquid hot. Of waisted form, on flared base with three feet, this Bidri Hookah base dates to the mid 19th century, from the city of Bidar in the Deccan region of India.
