Large and well decorated lebrillo or basin, in classic blue and white Fajalauza pottery from Granada, with floral, foliate and curved designs, 19th century, possibly 18th. Measures 11 1/2" in diameter and is 3 3/8" deep with sloped sides. The foot measures 8 1/4" in diameter. From the early 16th century, tin glazed wares have been crafted in Granada, with a creamy white slip glaze over terracotta pottery, decorated in blue and green glazes...

A finely cast and rare caneware terrine or covered game dish, mid 19th century, England or possibly French or German. Measures 6 3/4" high and is 7 1/4" in diameter. Signed on lid, looks like C S, possibly another letter and the number 9...

Striking pair of large vases by Gouda Pottery of Holland. They each measure 12" high and roughly 7" wide. Each marked on bottom, with both impressed and inscribed marks. Impressed numbers include 2144 and P 503, and in addition to the Gouda Holland marks written, the number 2144 is at the top, with KL 503 and what are likely the artist's initials in a rectangular cartouche JVS. The design is not written on either, and it seems to represent a floral element withing a rather geometric format...

2 gallon stoneware crock or churn by Julius Norton of Bennington Vt, 1859 - 1861. Measures 11 1/4" high and 8 1/2" diameter at base. Stamped at shoulder and neck with Julius Norton's name and location, the #2 below the stamp. This form is sometimes considered a churn, but can function as a crock also. Decorated with the double bird design, very rare and desirable. Very vivid cobalt decoration, with blue highlights over the stamped name, location, and size. Applied slip handles. Salt glaz...

Of unusual size and scenic subject matter, this albarello is Italian, dated 1772, and measures 8 1/8" tall and 7" wide. The painted scene depicts a town or village, with a round castle turret, several other buildings, and a church or basilica, along with trees, foliage, and a draped design at the top. This is a classic form of a dry pharmaceutical jar, or apothecary, and is exceptionally wide. Of earthenware with a cream colored slip, it is painted in a soft blue, some areas with thicker glaz...

Gorgeous pair of porcelain figures by A. W. Fr. Kister of Scheibe-Alsbach in Germany. 16" high (one slightly shorter), with bases of 6" in diameter. The mark of KPM with the crossed swords is from the Kister period, from 1863 to 1905. One figure is signed R. Moller (1855-1902), who was an important designer who worked for various German porcelain companies in the late 19th century. He was an instructor at the Industry Porcelain School in the area...

This rare Herend tea service is for twelve, an unusually large service, with a teapot that is also a large size (12 inches from spout to handle, and 7" high). The pattern is Petit Bouquet de Rose, and is decorated in all green, which is rare, as the roses generally are pink or yellow. The mark is that used between 1939 and 1948, and most of the pieces also are impressed with the Herend stamp and a number identifying the particular piece...
