Measuring 15 1/4" long, this sterling and stone mosaic necklace is handcrafted by the Los Ballesteros workshop, which opened in Taxco, Mexico in 1937. Comprised of geometric shapes that are inlaid with multicolor stones and silver wire, the necklace is stamped on the back of the largest section with the Los Ballesteros hallmark. Designed by Valentin Vidaurreta (1902-1959) while he worked with Hector Aguilar, who provided silver jewelry for Coro between 1943 and 1950.
