This charming and realistic terracotta sculpture of a koala is well modeled, with a rough textured surface. It measures 7 1/2" high, and is solid terracotta, weighing 3 1/2 pounds. There is a stamped Sevres name in a square cartouche, with "manufacture, nationale" on each side. Another stamp says "original" and it is artist signed, but the signature is not clear (photo included). Undated, it is likely mid 20th century, though could be earlier...

Beautifully sculpted from one piece of wood, this horse and rider sail effortlessly over a fence. The sculpture measures 16" high, approximately 19" from end of board to tip of horses nose, and the wood base is 13 1/4" x 4 1/4". The two back legs are one piece, just to support the body of the horse and rider. Every bit of the surface is slightly textured, like the hammer marks on silver, and gives the piece a lovely sheen and patina...

Measuring 12 1/2", and finely cast in bronze, this figure represents a Faun or Satyr, one of the followers of Pan, and the original was discovered in the ruins of Pompeii in 1830. With good detail, and true to the original statue, this one has a dark patina, with verdigris visible around the head primarily, and some wear to the patina on the body. Of nineteenth century original, and most likely a Grand Tour souvenir.
