Measuring 27" long, this strand of branch coral is comprised of heavy pieces of coral, with good deep natural color. The longest piece measures 1 3/8" and many pieces are 1" or more, most being fairly thick. There is no clasp, as it is long enough to slip over the head. The stringing thread appears to be red silk, and the age is unknown. This is a striking necklace, with beautiful rich color and wonderful size.

Measuring 9" high, this pair of Brass candlesticks have a "beehive" circular shaft upon an octagonal base, with bold turnings below a flared candle cup. Dating to the mid 19th century, they are of English origin, and were common in the US during this era. The button on one of the push up shafts is missing, as shown in the photos of bottoms. Both are in good condition, no dents or damage, and both have a soft, glossy patina.
