These two handled Spanish Colonial silver cups are not quite a pair, but both exhibit similar classic design motifs of the era and region. Both have hexagonal bases, with applied beading and twisted wire trim at the base and the lip, and have cast handles, one foliate, and the other with figural and floral design. One is slightly taller and measures 2 1/4" high. The diameters are approximately 2 7/8", though they are both slightly out of round. The larger has deeper stamped decoration, while the smaller has a more complex design. Unpolished, they have a nice satiny patina. Please see my other listings for another larger Spanish Colonial cup from the same collection.
