Very striking and unusual sterling and turquoise bracelet by Lee Nieto, known for his fine quality and often unique designs.
The interior measurement is 6 1/4", the gap is 1", and it is 1 1/2" wide measuring the central section where stone is attached.
The stone measures 1 1/8" x 3/4", and is set in a finely detailed bezel. The color is bright with visible matrix.
The band is designed at at angle, with the stone slightly offset in middle of band, with stamping over the very nice striated bands that are set at angles to the central stone.
Signed in center of interior, Sterling, Lee Nieto, with a glyph.
Very sculptural and artful in form and construction, with classic elements found in southwestern silver work, from Zuni and Navajo tribes.
Works by Nieto are desirable, and there are never many available for purchase.
