Pair of Alhambra bronze mirrors by Tiffany Co., with incised middle eastern designs over surface, with scrolling elements around mirror, and cross hatching and geometric motifs on handle, round hook at top of both for hanging. Measure 14" high, 7 3/8" in diameter, and roughly 1/2" deep. The backs are different, one is just flat, the other with step design, both types found in these mirrors. Bronze coloration is the same, one has some darker material in the recessed areas, giving it a slightly different appearance on close inspection. Both are unsigned, which seems to be typical of this particular mirror, as most are not signed. Both in good antique condition, signs of wear visible, one of the mirrors has some circular chips around the edge, but most of the silver on both is intact. The handle of one is slightly raised at the end, shows when both are side by side. The round hanging hooks are slightly different in size also. Note that photos show all these descriptions. As they are antique and show signs of usage described here, they are sold as. Well matched pair, they look wonderful together, and would look fabulous on a wall, possibly paired with bronze sconces.
