Very fine bronze and cloisonne lamp, with modern wiring, the bronze section on a base of onyx and bronze with cut out corners, the lamp is a bulbous form upon a pedestal base, the lip with acanthus leaf border, has section to hold harp and fairly recent electrical section for bulb, in fine working condition.
Measures 11" high, is roughly 3 1/4" wide at shoulder, the base is 3 1/4" square (lamp alone without electrical fixture at top is 9" high).
Both the metal work and the enamel cloisonne are fine quality, and was likely made in France or Russia, ca 1910. The designs have a slightly Islamic style, also very much in the style of the Aesthetic Movement in Europe and the US. Colors are rich and complementary, and the bronze areas have some etching and other details.
The lamp is solid brass and quite heavy.
Condition is good, has some very minor enamel losses, (see last photo for some loss in white outline), but no dents or major losses.
The lamp is antique and is sold as is.
